I have your favor covering letter from Mr Abbot.

With regard to the Provisions, we have them in boxes of 500 and of 1000. and we understood Mr D. who took the first lot of 20,000 and Mr Abbot who recd the last lot of 50,000 to desire those that had 500 in a box, having 25 in a tube, which were packed and delivered to the parties in full number.

I am very confident there was no mistake in the matter, as I gave my personal attention to it. I do not claim infallibility as one of my attributes, and if it can be made to appear that there was any deficiency I should cheerfully make the correction.
