I send you with this some copies of the first no. of the “Wyandott Citizen” – our new democratic paper - Please get up a good club for it – It must have some support – We have taken as many copies each as we can but there are but few democrats here in condition to subscribe very liberally – Davis is booked I notice for over one Hundred copies – but abbott tells me that there are not enough to give him half the start he ought to have - He will make it a good paper – I wish you would interest yourself and get some one to getting up xxx there –

We are at work here making votes and finding out where the voters are –
