I have just purchased from Mr Wilson one whole interest (10 shares) and from Lt. Hunter one half an interest (5 shares) and have given an order on you to the former for $1200.0 and to the latter for $600.0. Lt. Hunter has transferred his order to Col. Rich who will present it to you for payment. I think I can purchase some more for you when I reach Fort Riley. I send this by a party of your Pennsylvania friends who are much pleased with their visit to our town.
