Letter, Frank Walker to Milo Walker Author: Walker, Frank Date: June 26, 1859 In this letter to his brother Milo, Frank Walker wrote that he had preempted land in Linn County, Kansas Territory, in Section 25 of Township 21S, Range 22E. He had 80 acres that he thought was worth $1000 and he indicated that he intended "to engage in a little speculation that I will make 1000 more. He suggested that if Milo or his sisters could get $150 he could get them 80 acres also. Walker was writing from Mound City, Kansas Territory. Location of Original: KSHS Call Number: Misc.
