Letter, John Kimball to Br. [Isaac] Goodnow Author: Kimball, John Date: September 22, 1860 John Kimball wrote from Manhattan, Kansas Territory, to Isaac Goodnow, who was traveling away from his home in K.T. Kimball reported on the occupations of a religious camp in the town, within which "the Good Lord is converting sinners." Kimball also discussed the severe drought they were experiencing, and reported great damage to crops in the area. He added news of the Manhattan Express newspaper's expansion to Junction City and an acquaintance's journey to Pikes Peak.
