Contract, plat ownership in Highland, Kansas Territory Author: No authors specified. Date: April 4, 1855 This contract proposed the annexation of more land to the township of Highland, Kansas Territory, which would cause it to share a boundary with Iowa Indian Reserve lands. The remainder of the document described the conditions of land ownership within the plat, dividing it among seven men, and prohibiting the sale or production of "intoxicating drinks" on all named lands.
