Letter, Thomas H. Webb to Dear Madam [Sara Robinson] Author: Webb, Thomas H. (Hopkins), 1801-1866 Date: October 10, 1856 Thomas Webb, Secretary of the New England Emigrant Aid Company, wrote from Boston to Sara Robinson, summarizing the proceedings of the Company's Executive Committee meeting of October 3. Webb told Mrs. Robinson that they had received and honored Dr. Charles Robinson's request to resign from the Committee. He added that the members of the Executive Committee still wished to maintain communication with Dr. Robinson "regarding all matters that concern the cause of Kansas", and that Robinson would continue to be paid for the following six months.
