Photograph, William Tecumseh Sherman Author: Kuhn Bros. William Tecumseh Sherman was involved in Leavenworth during the territorial period. He was a partner in a law firm with Thomas Ewing, Jr., who was also his brother-in-law. He was involved in promoting the interests of Leavenworth. He later gained fame as a Civil War General. This photograph was taken after his time in Kansas.
