Letter, T.J. Marsh to George L. Stearns Author: Marsh, Thomas J. Date: August 27, 1857 In this letter from Lawrence, K.T., Marsh reported that despite opposition from Judge Martin Conway, the delegates at the Grasshopper Falls Convention on August 26 "voted to go into the [October] Election with all the power they have."
