Letter, J. B. Hodgin to S. N. Wood Author: Hodgin, J. B. Date: August 25, 1860 From Cottonwood Falls, Hodgin wrote Wood concerning the Kaws and whiskey that reportedly "supplied" to them at the Falls on August 23 and "As is generally the result, a big fight occurred" among the Indians and several were killed.
